Task 9: Final reflections and my future as a teacher

 

Here you have a video (quite long) explaining what I have learned in my Practicum V, this video should have been an hour long for me to be able to share everything I have learned during these 8 months, but I wanted to summarize it a bit. There are many things that I did not mention and I have actually forgotten to thank the school for being so helpful and show me the human part of the teachers' room. This has been the most difficult but enriching experience of my life and it is all because of the school, because even though it was really difficult to deal with the diversity inside the classroom, the constant conflicts inside and outside the class I have been able to reconnect with my love for teaching, I have learned resources, I have learned the importance of having a great group of teacher that will support you no matter what. I have established an amazing bond with my tutors and also with the other teacher and I feel very lucky for the opportunity and the trust they all put on me, they did not doubt for a second I was able to carry out a session, they gave me great and useful advice and I have learned much more because of them.

I also want to think my mentor in UAB because she had always something nice to say, she always pointed out something good from my creations even though she offered advice and help. She was very real, she told us the difficulties a teacher has to be able to do everything she is asked to do and I believe she is a super teacher because she is able to handle her school work and also, she said yes to tutoring a group of future teachers.

Thank you for your support and your help,  it was your first year but you did amazing to us.
