General objectives of the sequence:

  1. Learn about the regular and irregular verbs.

  2. Learn about biographies and autobiographies.

  3. Be able to differenciate between biographies and autobiographies.

  4. Learn how to write the biography of a famous person.

  5. Learn how to write their autobiography. 

  6. Use ICT tools to create a visual story about their lives.

  2. Learn how to use the 1st and 3rd voice.

  3. Learn how to write coherent texts.

My Teaching unit - The story of my life

Context: The teaching unit was developed in 6th grade during the English hours 

​

Timing: The sessions will be divided in two types:

The ones that will last 1 HOUR: sessions from 1 to 7

The ones that will last 1 HOUR AND A HALF: session 8 (and 9 if needed)

The teaching unit you are about to explore is aimed for the students to learn how to use the past tenses both for regular and irregular verbs. 
Before describing the teaching unit I planned for my students I want to give you a bit of context and information about the sequence itself.
