Session 5: Let's introduce autobiographies
Session number 5 is the one in which students will be introduced with autobiographies
Objectives of the session:

To complete a Venn's diagram with characteristics of biographies and autobiographies.

To complete a listening activity.

To identify whether some texts are autobiographies or biographies.

Chose the important events they want to include in their autobiography.
Description of the activities:
Activity 1: The first activity is aimed at the students to read some statements about biographies and autobiographies' characteristics and they have to place them on the Venn's diagram. After the activity, there will be a discussion to correct the exercise.

Class organization: Table groups
Timing: 20 minutes
Activity 2: The listening activity will be done as the students do their basic competences tests, as it will serve as a practice for the official exam. They have 45 seconds to read the questions and then they will listen to the listening 3 times.

Timing: 30 minutes
DOL ACTIVITY: I WILL BE ABLE TO DIFFERENTIATe AT LEAST 2 OF THE 4 TEXTS POINTING OUT WHETHER THEY ARE BIOGRAPHIES OR AUTOBIOGRAPHIES
The students will be given 4 different little texts and they should be able to identify if they are biographies or autobiographies by the way they are written.

Timing: 5 minutes
Activity 4: To finish the sessions students will have some minutes to write down things they feel are important for their autobiographies to have.

Attention to diversity: The sentences for the Venn's diagram will be explained at the biginning for everybody to be able to complete the task. The groups will be heterogeneous as they normally sit in heterogeneous groups. The listening activity will be played several times to ensure that all students are able to get as much understanding as possible.
